NiteView is a free live nightlife preview platform operated by NiteView LLC. This page explains support access, data practices, account deletion, and safety rules for the app.

App Terms & Safety

NiteView Live is a free 18+ app for discovering artists, venues, live moments, rewards, comments, and direct artist/venue contact inside NiteView.

Users are responsible for the content they submit. Do not use NiteView for harassment, illegal activity, spam, impersonation, explicit personal information, or unsafe meetups. NiteView may remove content, restrict access, or delete accounts when needed to protect users or the platform.

Artist and venue information is provided by users, venues, artists, or NiteView admins. Confirm event, booking, age-entry, and venue details directly before making real-world plans.

Privacy Policy

How NiteView handles data

This policy applies to NiteView Live at niteview.app and related in-app experiences.

1. Data We Collect

Account information: screen name, email address, role, account status, age verification status, and authentication records handled through Supabase.

Age verification: NiteView is for adults 18 and older. During onboarding, we ask for date of birth to verify eligibility. We store an age-verified status, not your full date of birth in the public users table.

Profile and application content: artist and venue applications, names, bios, genres, locations, profile images, logos, menu images, submitted videos, TV posts, offers, and dashboard details you choose to publish.

Community activity: follows, favorites, comments, fan feed posts, live chat messages, direct artist/venue messages, notifications, reactions, likes, check-ins, avatar rewards, and Explorer diamond progress.

Technical and safety data: page views, device and browser information, IP-derived rate-limit signals, request logs, error logs, live telemetry, anti-abuse checks, and realtime connection events.

2. How We Use Data

To operate NiteView, authenticate users, show public artist and venue profiles, run live chat, deliver notifications, support check-ins, unlock free rewards, and keep the app reliable.

To review artist and venue applications, moderate user-generated content, detect abuse, debug errors, and respond to support requests.

To understand broad product usage such as page views, live activity, and popular content. NiteView Live does not sell personal data and does not use advertising cookies.

3. Messaging, Chat, And Public Content

Public comments, fan feed messages, live chat messages, profile content, and approved artist or venue media may be visible to other NiteView users.

Artist/venue direct messages are visible to the sender, recipient, and NiteView owner/admin review tools for safety, abuse prevention, and support. Only opted-in artists and venues appear as direct message recipients.

Do not post sensitive personal information, payment details, private addresses, or emergency information inside comments, chats, or direct messages.

4. Cookies And Local Storage

NiteView uses first-party session storage, browser storage, and cookies needed for login, age-gate flow, app preferences, realtime connections, and security.

If the age gate sets an nv_age_ok cookie, it is used only to remember adult eligibility on that browser. It does not contain your name, email, or payment information.

We do not use third-party advertising pixels or cross-site ad tracking in NiteView Live.

5. Service Providers

NiteView uses infrastructure providers to run the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, and storage; Vercel for hosting and Speed Insights; Render and Centrifugo for realtime delivery; Mux for live and video infrastructure; and Cloudflare Turnstile for anti-abuse checks.

These providers process data only as needed to provide infrastructure and security for NiteView. NiteView Live is a free app and does not process purchases or checkout inside this app.

6. Data Retention

Account and profile data is retained while your account, artist profile, or venue profile remains active.

Messages, comments, chat, submissions, and moderation records may be retained while the related account, artist, venue, or live surface remains active, unless deleted earlier through product controls or by request.

Operational logs, rate-limit records, and safety/audit events may be retained as needed to protect the service, investigate abuse, and maintain platform integrity.

Support emails are retained while we resolve the request and may be deleted upon request when no longer needed.

7. Your Choices And Rights

You can edit or delete many profile details from your NiteView profile and dashboards.

You can request account deletion from your profile where available. Account deletion removes your NiteView account and linked app data, subject to limited retention for security, audit, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.

You can also email niteview951@gmail.com for privacy, support, deletion, or correction requests. We aim to respond within 2 business days and process privacy/deletion requests within 30 days when verification is complete.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA. NiteView does not sell personal information.

8. Children And Age Limits

NiteView is strictly for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If you believe a minor has used NiteView, contact niteview951@gmail.com so we can review and remove the associated data when appropriate.

9. Security

We use HTTPS, access-controlled databases, role-based app permissions, server-side validation, anti-abuse checks, and limited admin access to protect NiteView data.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security. If you believe there is a security issue, contact us immediately.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as NiteView changes. Material updates will be reflected by the Last updated date on this page.

Continuing to use NiteView after an update means you accept the updated policy.
